Vestværftet

Our customers are from mainly from Northern Europe, for example, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, the Netherlands, Ireland, France – but of course, also Denmark.

The yard was founded in 1995 by former employees of Johs. Kristensen shipbuilding, Hvide Sande. Many of Vestværftet’s employees are trained on site and have extensive experience in building and repairing fishing vessels.

We also focus on the optimization of fuel consumption like battery and other methods for recycling energy fx. Collection of waste energy, Peak shaving, Intelligent generator solutions PMS, Recycling of heat either to power or heating etc.

We design the ships ourselves according to the customer’s wishes and needs, and we take great pride in making each vessel precisely as the customer wants it.

Currently, the yard employs about 50 employees and a large number of subcontractors, but we are always looking for new skilled employees. Whether you are young or older, apprentice or educated, we would love to hear from you.
